Chili Noodle Bowl

Perfect for a simple family meal, or gathering of friends.  Easy to double for a crowd.

  • 1 ½ lb. lean ground beef

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 - 16 oz. jar of My Brother’s Original or House Salsa 

  • 1 ¼ cup water

  • 1-2 tbsp chile powder

  • 1 tsp. ground cumin

  • salt/pepper to taste

  • 8 oz. Spaghetti or Bucatini, cook according to package directions

Toppings:  Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt, any variety can bean, cheddar cheese, scallions, tomato, chile powder.

Sauté onions in olive oil.  Add ground beef and brown. Add My Brother’s Original or House Salsa, water chile powder, cumin.  Cover. Simmer on low for at least 30 minutes.  Taste then season with salt and pepper.  Serve over pasta noodles and garnish with your favorite toppings.
