Beef & Cheddar Burgers w/ Cranberry Ketchup
A holiday burger or anytime burger to remember when you dress up simple beef and cheddar with our fun Cranberry Orange Ketchup.
1 pound ground chuck
kosher salt
freshly ground pepper
8 oz. cheddar cheese slices
4 hamburger buns or 8 slider buns toasted
1 cup leafy greens i.e. arugula, spinach, leaf lettuce
1/2 cup My Brother's Cranberry Orange Salsa
1/2 cup Ketchup
olives/pickles for garnish
Whisk together equal amounts of My Brother's Cranberry Orange Salsa and a quality ketchup. Set aside or refrigerate in covered container for later use.
Divide ground beef into equal amounts and shape into a ball. Place onto hot skillet/griddle and press down with spatula to flatten. Season generously with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes and turn. Continue cooking to desired doneness. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese. On a toasted bun, layer fresh lettuces, beef/cheese patty, Cranberry Orange Ketchup. Garnish with olive or pickle. Eat up!
